Skyway is celebrating 60 years of being in business in 2023, and this is the first of some really cool, made in the USA items that we're releasing.
What are Skyway Tuff wheels made of?
Skyway Tuff II wheels are made from nylon composite and feature sealed cartridge bearings for extended life. They're suitable for all regular spin-on 16T/18T freewheels, 20" x 1.75/2.125" tyres and Schrader valve inner tubes.
Where are Skyway bikes made?
Based in Redding, California Skyway are the makers of the original 5 spoke Tuff Wheel. Although mainly producing mag wheels, Skyway also made frames and complete bikes for a brief period. Skyway had a great race team for many years.

Does Skyway still make bikes?
Now in 2022, Skyway are proud to release the second generation of the original TA, as a frame set and a complete bike in 20 inch. The teardrop tubing has been sourced to make sure these bikes are as original as can be.
